| Annalise Braakensiek was born Sagitarius on the 9th of December,1972. She was brought up with an alternative lifestyle on the East Coast of Australia travelling from Sydney to Byron and back in a double decker bus, later settling on a biodynamic farm. From an early age she was active in arts and theatre making the most of any opportunity at school. A passion she still has today. At age 15 Annalise took off to Europe where she picked up the German language while staying in Germany, before backpacking through Switzerland, Austria, Italy, France, Czechoslovakia, Holland and the Greek Islands. Arriving home she completed her HSC and then went on to double major in a Fine Arts degree at the University of New South Wales. Deferring in the middle somewhere with a bout of the travel bug, she took off through Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Bangladesh, Nepal, India, the Philippines and Japan where she did some modelling. It was an appearance in Australia's Inside Sport Magazine that began the rise and rise of Annalise. After winning Inside Sport Model of the year Annalise travelled to New York where she was scouted by Irene Marie Modelling agency. A working VISA followed and a trip to Miami where it all began to gain serious momentum. Cosmo, TV ads, Swimwear work in Germany, then on to Greece, Athens, the island, Milan, Rome, Naples, London, Morocco, France, Switzerland, Austria, Holland, and the list goes on. After this remarkable trip Annalise returned home to a big welcome, appearing in a host of Australian publications and winning praise as the 4th sexiest woman on the planet in Ralph Magazine, one of the 50 sexiest people in the world, and not surprisingly, the sexiest gal in Australia. Back at home in 1997 we see her enjoying time with her sister Deva in Byron Bay. She remains very close to her family who have been an endless source of support over the years, and there's a few of them - Mum, Pappa, Hermie, Johannes, Deva, Kristian, Stewart, Georgie, Vickie, her God mum Neanie and her loved and missed Nanna. |
