| Bree Turner (born March 10, 1977 in Palo Alto, California) is an American film actress. A natural dancer, she spent most of her teen years taking classes and perfecting her talent. After graduating from Monte Vista High School, located in Danville, CA, where she was voted 1994 Homecoming Queen, class of 1995, she went on to attend Kings College in London and also UCLA. She had her first taste of the "industry" when, in early 1996, she was cast to be in a commercial promoting awareness for genital herpes. Despite being a devout Mormon, Tuner still had to deny assumptions that the commercial was based in reality; she maintains today that she does not have herpes. In the earliest display of her acting skills, her famous line in the commercial was "I had pain, discharge, and a sore. I thought it was another yeast infection. It wasn't." Dancing and various modelling opportunities called her, and she landed various gigs as a backround dancer in such hits as The Big Lebowski (1998), She's All That (1999), and Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me (1999). She also had a small musical score in My Best Friend's Wedding (1997). She has also acted in 'Deuce Biggalo, Male Giggolo' as the pet store worker that Deuce buys snails from. |
