| Cory Everson (Kara) was born Corinna Kneuer on 4 January, 1959 in Racine, Wisconsin. She attended Deerfield High School, Illinois and later went to the University of Wisconsin where she won four Big Ten pentathlon titles. She married her current husband Jeff Everson in 1982 and was a six-time winner of Miss Olympia from 1984 until 1989. The name Cory Everson is synonymous with that of fitness as she has written the top selling books Corinna Everson's Workout and Fat Free & Fit which have served as motivational tools for thousands of people trying to better themselves. She has also produced her own complete multi-video exercise series and is the star of her own TV show, ESPN's Gotta Sweat. Cory has appeared on hundreds of magazine covers worldwide and is a trusted voice of experience for both men and women who turn to her for fitness advice. Her latest book, Cory Everson's LifeBalance, is a more productive regimen with a new way to look at exercise and diet. Among her few screen appearances which people may remember is as the incredibly muscled Atalanta on the TV show Hercules: The Legendary Journeys (1995). |
