| Gorgeous siren, Jennifer, shares little of the feistiness of her on-screen character Emily Shadwick. What both do have in common is Ambition, for Jennifer it is to be famous. Having already enjoyed fame in Brookie just isn�t enough �Anna Friel started in Brookside and ended in the United States, so maybe I could be the next Anna Friel�. Brookside may have been Jennifer�s first television work, but she�s no stranger to the world of show business. From the age of 9, Jennifer has been a dancer and not a bad one at that, having won the Under 10 World Ballet Champion and the Senior Championships at 14, she has even danced for Princess Anne in London�s West End. With a glittering career awaiting Jennifer in Dance, the girl from Croxteth Park had ambitions elsewhere �From a very young age I wanted to be on TV and I still do�� Brookside brought Jennifer the TV fame she so craved for as well as a legion of admirers not least males but also parents and teenagers who in the last couple of years have seen Emily grow from sweet troubled teen to sexy temptress �I get a lot of letters from parents and teenagers telling me that Emily is a good role model�� Male fans will be pleased to know that Jennifer no longer has any interests in being part of a famous couple. �I�m becoming more attracted to guys who aren�t in the business�..I don�t want any sort of extra attention that comes with having a relationship with a celebrity.� Footballers particularly come under heavy criticism, since her on-off relationship with Liverpool idol Steven Gerrard has become more off. The two are now just good friends. �Footballers are great to go out with if all you want to talk about is them and fast cars�. I just see them as 22 fellas running around a pitch kicking a piece of rubber into 2 pieces of string � a gang of stupid idiots who probably haven�t a GCSE to their name�.
