| Kelly Packard was born in Glendale, Ca, on January 29, 1975, and grew up in Arizona. She then returned to Canyon Country, Ca. Packard began her career in television commercials at the age of 8 before going on to win the title of Miss California Pre-Teen in 1988. In her early teens, she made the transition to series television with guest appearances in such series as The Wonder Years, Boy Meets World, Step by Step, Blossom, What a Dummy, Wake, Rattle and Roll and Living Dolls. At the beginning of the third season, Kelly Packard joined TBS Superstation's RIPLEY'S BELIEVE IT OR NOT!® as the series' live-event correspondent. This dazzling beauty hosts outrageous feats taped before audiences at such diverse locations as a Hollywood Blvd. intersection, the Las Vegas Strip and stadiums. Kelly has been seen in the Sega video arcade game Kelly Packard's Golden Cue. She also hosted Secret Beaches, a special for the Travel Channel. She appeared in the independent film Get Your Stuff, a romantic comedy co-starring David Faustino. She also had a featured role in the film And You Thought Your Parents Were Weird, 1991. In 1997, she was appeared in the movie Little Bigfoot. She is most famous for playing "surfer babe" bass-guitarist Tiffani Smith on California Dreams. Packard starred for two seasons as the fashion-designing lifeguard April on the long-running series Baywatch. Packard, who has an older brother and two younger stepbrothers, enjoys volleyball, tennis, basketball, softball and horseback-riding. She is married to Darrin Privett since 1997. |
