| An award-winning actress, Lindy Booth starred as series regular Kari Taylor on the Fox Kids' Network series Eerie, Indiana: The Other Dimension, she's also played Hawk on The Disney Channel's The Famous Jett Jackson and the lead in the telefilm Darkness Comes for Fox Family Channel. The young thespian studied at T.A. Blakelock High School, winning the 1994-95 Junior Drama and 1997-98 Senior Drama Awards. Other memorable stage performances include Booth's portrayal of Genevieve in Forget-Me-Not, which she also wrote, at the 1997 Sears Festival, for which she was recognized with a Merit Award for Individual Acting, and lead roles in Who Will Stop The Rain?, Beauty Is The Beast and Vietrock, which were also award-winning Sears Festival turns. As part of the cast of Handcuffs: The Donnellys, Booth received an Adjudicator's Award for Outstanding Ensemble Acting at the Oakville Theatrefest in 1996. A Canadian native, Booth was born and raised just outside of Toronto, Ontario in Oakville, where she still resides with her family. |
