| Lori Anne Loughlin was born July 28, 1965 in Queens, New York, and was raised in nearby Hauppage, New York. She was married at one time, to banker Michael Burns. Lori was the original choice for the motion picture "The Blue Lagoon", a movie that made Brooke Sheilds famous. Lori turned it down. Instead Lori went to the daytime soap opera "The Edge of the Night", playing the role of Jody Travis. Lori was only 15 when she got this role, although she palyed an 18 year old. She was on that show from 1980 to 1984. Lori said in a 1995 interview on Later (NBC) that when she auditioned for the role the producers stated that they needed some one who could dance, the role of Jody was a ballerina. She lied and said she could, and got the part. When the producers found out that Lori could not dance, they changed the role to a dancer who was really bad at dancing. Lori is most well known as playing Rebecca Donaldson and the TV show Full House. She joined the cast of the show in 1989 as Danny Tanner's (Bob Saget) TV show co-host and Jesse's (John Stamos) love interest. As the show went on, Lori continued to do TV movies.On Full House, her character Rebecca married Jesse, and they became parents of twins. Full House ended in 1995. Since then Lori has done several more TV movies and TV guest apperances.In 1998 Lori took time off from acting to start a family with her new husband Mossimo Giannulli. Their first child was born in Sept 1998 and their second was born Sept 1999. In 2000, Lori was interviewed for E!
