| Lysette was born on the 26th September 1963 in London to actress Bernadette Milne & Michael Anthony. Lysette first took to the stage at ten when she started performing in her parents' theatre. Four years later she was accepted into the National Youth Theatre and at sixteen was discovered by David Bailey, who called her the face of the 80s. A year later she gave up modelling to concentrate solely on her acting. Lysette's talent enabled her to play a variety of characters ranging from Angie in the long running series Three Up Two Down to starring opposite Hayley Mills in Lillian Hellman's stage production of Toys in the Attic, to Jack the Ripper and Without a Clue, both of which starred Michael Caine. She appeared in Playboy December 1988. Lysette left England in 1990 to pursue opportunities in America. She received critical acclaim for her role in Woody Allen's Husbands and Wives, and followed this with a comic role starring opposite Leslie Nielsen in Mel Brooks' Dracula: Dead and Loving It for Columbia Pictures. Other film projects included Dr Jekyll and Ms Hyde where she starred opposite Tim Daly and Sean Young, Look Who's Talking Now with John Travolta and Kirsty Alley, and a starring part in the controversial, bawdy, black murder mystery, The Hour of the Pig with Colin Firth, Ian Holm and Nicole Williamson. Since returning to the UK, Lysette has starred as Jackie Onassis in the West End production of Gip Hoppe's Jackie, and completed a starring role in a new play called 23:59 at The Crucible, Sheffield. She has also appeared in Jonathan Creek. She runs her own film production company. Lysette's first major role as a producer on Desert Flower saw her collaborating with Elton John's Rocket Pictures to bring supermodel Waris' heart-wrenching and shocking life story to the screen. Other projects include an adaptation of Edith Wharton's short story, The Old Maid, and Case Closed, a one-hour action drama series. Her most recent television work has been her appearance in 'Hotel' as a maniac in a short skirt and a bad Euro accent. Lysette plays Amanda Brown, a stunningly attractive spy.
